My Offering Lyrics

  1. The H Prayer
  2. Lord, grant me honesty. Lord, give me humility.
Lord, increase my hunger. Help me thirst for holiness.
I long for healing. I seek your honor.
How I want a pure, clean heart, my hope is in heaven.

  3. Give Me a Sign
  4. Give me a sign of your goodness. Give me a word from above.
Convince me, Lord, of your kindness. Quiet my heart with your love.
Test me and try me, and search me and know me, sweet Jesus, speak peace to my soul.
Comfort me, purify, heal me and edify, only your love makes me whole.
I’m just a broken woman so you’ll understand if I
plead and moan and beg for mercy, cling to you and cry.
My circumstances are not good and so you’ll understand
if I come and bare my heart and grasp onto your hand.
(A married woman, but unloved) and so you see my plight
as I beg for your sweet comfort through the day and night.
I have two sons, two precious sons I long to raise for you.
Yet, I am weary, burdened, only you can get me through.

  5. Lord, Make Me Beautiful
  6. Lord, make me beautiful, beautiful to you.
Clothe me with a gentleness and quietness like you.
I want to laugh at days to come because I’m trusting you.
Clothe me in compassion and patience that’s from you.
Lord, make me beautiful, beautiful to you.
Clothe me with your righteousness, humility and you.
I want to be as Sarah was, obedient and true.
Clothe me with the beauty that only comes from you.

  7. Too Wonderful for Me
  8. Lord, I won’t concern myself with things too wonderful for me.
Lord, I don’t concern myself with things too wonderful for me.
There is a time for everything, to everything a season,
so I’ll trust in the Lord with all my heart and lean not on my reason.

  9. My Purpose
  10. Let my prayer be not to be delivered, but let my concern be
for your name that your name be glorified, Lord, glorify your name through me.
Let my goal be not for comfort, but let my pursuit be
to be conformed to the image of your Son, the likeness of your holy Son.
I am ready for the rapture, Lord, but am I ready for the tribulation?
Give me strength for whatever I face.
I am ready, Lord, to die for you, but am I ready
to take my cross and to live for you, following you?
No one can hinder what you plan to do in my life but me!
Heaven is my home and this life is more than what I can see!
Let my aim be, not the taste of pleasure, but let my desire be,
to be filled with the Spirit of love, of power and self-discipline.
Let my request be, to know Christ and to know the power of his resurrection and to
know the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings. Let your name be glorified through me.

  11. My Consecration
  12. Lord, I want to love you. Nothing else above you,
from the crown of my head to the tips of my toes, a temple for your Spirit.
I want to know you in all I go through; I want the life that your death won on Calvary.
Son of man and Son of God, let me walk the path you trod and
with thy grace I’ll seek thy face. Lead me ever higher.
Lord, I want to serve you, though I don’t deserve to, oh,
help me see how I can be a living sacrifice.
    Hallelujah, hallelujah, Jesus, Savior, King.
Abba, Father. Jesus, save me! Glorify thyself in me, oh,
empty me of all but thee! Thou: my sole desire.

  13. My Cry
  14. Out of the depths and anguish of my heart I cry to thee.
Lord, Sovereign God, my tears and bleeding heart, let them be seen.
How can I live but thou, dear Lord, guide me?
How can I serve, but thou, Lord, sustain me?
Out of the depths and anguish of my heart I cry to thee.
How can I live but thou, Lord, sustain me?
How can I serve, but thou, dear Lord, guide me?
Out of the depths and anguish of my heart I cry to thee.
Lord, Papa God, my tears and bleeding heart, let them be seen.

  15. My Conflict
  16. Lord, these thoughts that consume me: Let it be pain, not pride,
let it be faith, not fantasy, let it be endurance and not denial.
Let it be continuous prayer, not obsession.
Take away my unbelief and give me confidence.
Spirit, intercede for me with groanings which words cannot express.
Lord, you know, you were overwhelmed to the point of death.
I am sick, only to my stomach while you sweat great drops of blood,
and I cry with you: Father, glorify thy name.
Let it be forgiveness, not a root of bitterness.
Lord, I made such big claims about what you’ve done for me, and who you are to me.
How your grace is more than sufficient and in you there is rest and joy for every situation.
How it’s easy to trust you if only we glimpse your love.
But when it’s just you and me, in the privacy of the inner chamber of my heart,
I ask you: is it true? You’ve tested me. Am I preaching only what I’ve first practiced?
Oh Lord, let it be true in me.
Lord, these thoughts that consume me, let it be grief, not hurt, let it be honesty, not doubt.
Let it be humility and not shame, let it be suffering, not self-pity.
Take away my begging and give me praise for you.
Let it be rest, not resignation. Let it be death, and not despondency.

  17. My Condition
  18. Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me. Lord, I am blind, I want to see.
God, have mercy on me for I am a sinner, O God, have mercy on me.
Lord, I am naked and Lord, I am poor.
Lord, I am wretched and I can only cry and bow my head and beg you…

  19. (Not) My Concern
  20. Will I see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living, or is my triumph of another world?
Will you restore the years the locusts have eaten? Or will I have this thorn in my flesh until I die,
for your power is made perfect in weakness.
I will praise you in this prison, but I also earnestly pray for deliverance.
You can deliver me and you will deliver me, but even if you do not, I will worship you alone.
Can these dry bones live? Lord, you alone know.
For me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
What shall I choose? I do not know. To depart is better by far.
Will I receive my dead raised to life or shall I refuse deliverance
that I might gain a better resurrection?
I know that this valley of death is not for ever, suffering is for a season.
Will my promised land be in this life or the next? Of whom the world is not worthy.
Lord, what about him? What is that to thee? You, follow me.
Will I be delivered from the den of the lions like Daniel, or will I, like Stephen be martyred?
Will you give me twice what I had before, or will I say with Paul,
I have learned in whatever state I am to be content?
For me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
What shall I choose? I do not know. It is better for you that I remain.

  21. My Change.
  22. Lord, change my heart. Lord, rule my mind. I cry out to thee.
I prayed you would help me serve you even though this cross I bear.
Now I see that I can serve you better for your sufferings I share.
My wish was just to survive but now I pray I’ll overcome.
I was wishing I could cope but now I ask for anointing with the oil of joy.

  23. My Confidence. T.R.U.S.T.
  24. Trust the Lord. Hope, O my soul, in his word.
“T” is for tenderness; trust him for his tenderness.
“R” is righteousness: righteous are his ways.
“U” for understanding, O how limitless!
“S” he sees you, the sovereign Lord sees.
And do not fear, and do not strive. Rest (wait) for he is in control, his “T”iming is perfect.
All I want, and all I need, Lord, you are to me.
On your word I daily feed, until your face I see.
All I hope for in this life, my praise in the next.
Your peace quenches mortal strife; I need not be vexed.
Oh my love, come away, to a land of brighter day.

  25. My Heart Has Faith
  26. Hi, Jesus, I know you’re here, even though I can’t see you.
Hi, Jesus, I know you care, because my heart has faith.
Because my heart has faith, I know you’re here, I know you care, because my heart has faith.
Ah, Spirit, I know you’re here, even when I can’t feel you.
Ah, Spirit, I know you care, because my heart has faith.
Because my heart has faith, I know you’re here, I know you care, because my heart has faith.

  27. If Thou But Suffer God to Guide (George Numark)
  28. If thou but suffer God to guide thee, and hope in him through all thy ways,
He’ll give thee strength whate’er betide thee, and bear thee through the evil days.
Who trusts in God’s unchanging love builds on a rock that naught can move.
Only be still and wait his leisure in cheerful hope with heart content
To take whate’er thy Father’s pleasure and all-deserving love hath sent,
Nor doubt our inmost wants are known to him who chose us for his own.
He knows the time for joy, and truly will send it when he sees it meet,
When he has tried and purged thee throughly and finds thee free from all deceit,
He comes to thee all unaware and makes thee own his loving care.
Sing, pray, and keep his ways unswerving, so do thine own part faithfully,
    And trust his word, though undiscerning, thou yet shall find it true for thee;
God never yet forsook at need the soul that trusted him indeed.

  29. Nearer, My God, to Thee. (Sarah Adams)
  30. Nearer, my God, to thee, nearer to thee. E’en though it be a cross that raiseth me;
Still all my song shall be, Nearer, my God, to thee!
    There let the way appear steps unto heaven; All that thou sendest me in mercy given;
Angels to beckon me nearer, my God to thee.
Then, with my waking thoughts bright with thy praise,
    out of my stony griefs, Bethel I’ll raise;
So by my woes to be nearer, my God to thee.

  31. Nearer, Still Nearer. (Leila Naylor Morris)
  32. Nearer, still nearer, close to thy heart, draw me, my Savior, so precious thou art.
Fold me, O fold me close to thy breast, shelter me safe in that haven of rest.
Nearer, still nearer, nothing I bring, naught as an offering to Jesus my King,
Only my sinful, now contrite heart; Grant me the cleansing thy blood doth impart.
Nearer, still nearer, Lord, to be thine, sin, with its follies, I gladly resign.
All of its pleasures, pomp and its pride; Give me but Jesus, my Lord crucified.

  33. Hymn Favorites. (by various authors)
  34. O to be like thee, blessed Redeemer, this is my constant longing and prayer.
Gladly I’ll forfeit all of earth’s pleasures, Jesus, thy perfect likeness to wear.
O to be like thee, blessed Redeemer, pure as thou art.
Come in thy sweetness, come in thy fullness. Stamp thine own image deep on my heart.
Under his wings I am safely abiding, though the night deepens and tempests are wild.
Still I can trust him, I know he will keep me. He has redeemed me and I am his child.
Under his wings, who from his love can sever?
Under his wings my soul shall abide, safely abide for ever.
There is a fountain filled with blood drawn from Emmanuel’s veins
and sinners washing in that flood lose all their guilty stains.
I know not why God’s wondrous grace to me he hath made known,
nor why, unworthy, Christ in love redeemed me for his own.
But I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that he is able
to keep that which I’ve committed unto him against that day.
Tell me the story of Jesus, write on my heart every word.
Tell me the story most precious, sweetest that ever was heard.
Love in that story so tender, clearer than ever I see.
Stay, let me weep while you whisper: Love paid the ransom for me.
When we walk with the Lord in the light of his word, what a glory he sheds on our way.
While we do his good will, he abides with us still, and with all who will trust and obey.
Trust and obey, for there’s no other way to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.
Lord Jesus, I long to be perfectly whole. I want thee forever to live in my soul.
Break down every idol, cast out every foe. Now wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Will your anchor hold in the storms of life? When the clouds unfold their wings of strife.
When the strong tides lift and the cables strain, will your anchor hold or firm remain?
We have an anchor that keeps the soul steadfast and sure while the billows roll,
fastened to the rock which cannot move, grounded firm and deep in the Savior’s love.
‘Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, just to take him at his word.
Just to rest upon his promise, just to know, thus saith the Lord.
Jesus, Jesus, how I trust him, how I’ve proved him o’er and o’er.
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus, O for grace to trust him more.

  35. Am I a Soldier (Isaac Watts)
  36. Am I a soldier of the cross, a follower of the Lamb?
And shall I fear to own his cause or blush to speak his name?
Must I be carried to the skies on flowery beds of ease?
While others fought to win the prize and sailed through bloody seas.
Sure, I must fight if I would reign, increase my courage, Lord.
I’ll bear the toil, endure the pain, supported by thy word.
Thy saints in all this glorious war shall triumph though they die.
They see the triumph from afar and seize it with their eye.

  37. My God, I Thank Thee (Adelaide Anne Procter)
  38. My God, I thank thee who hast made the earth so bright.
So full of splendor and of joy, beauty and light.
So many glorious things are here, noble and right.
I thank thee, too, that thou hast made joy to abound.
So many gentle thoughts and deeds circling us round
That in the darkest spot on earth some love is found.
I thank thee more that all our joy is touched with pain,
    That shadows fall on brightest hours, that thorns remain;
So that earth’s bliss may be our guide, and not our chain.
    I thank thee, Lord, that thou hast kept the best in store;
We have enough, yet not too much to long for more,
A yearning for a deeper peace not known before.
I thank thee, Lord, that here our souls, though amply blessed,
    Can never find, although they seek a perfect rest;
Nor ever shall, until they lean on Jesus’ breast. Amen.

  39. Thy Way and All Thy Sorrows (Paul Gerhardt)
  40. Thy way and all thy sorrows, give thou into his hand.
His gracious care unfailing who doth the heavens command.
Their course and path he giveth to clouds and air and wind.
A way thy feet may follow, he too for thee will find.
Give all to his direction, in wisdom he doth reign.
Thy wonder far exceeding, his will his course maintain.
So he as him beseemeth with wonder-working skill
Shall put away the sorrows that now thy spirit fill.

  41. My Petition Medley (various authors)
  42. Lord I am fondly, earnestly longing into thy holy likeness to grow.
Thirsting for more and deeper communion, yearning thy love more fully to know.
Open the wells of grace and salvation, pour the rich streams deep into my heart.
Cleanse and refine my thought and affection, seal me and make me pure as thou art.
Lord, Jesus, look down from thy throne in the skies and help me to make a complete sacrifice.
I give up myself and whatever I know. Now wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Whiter than snow, yes, whiter than snow. Now wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Lord Jesus, thou seest I patiently wait. Come now, and within me a new heart create.
To those who have sought thee, thou never saidst no.
Now wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
More gratitude give me. More trust in the Lord.
More pride in his glory. More hope in his word.
More tears for his sorrows, more pain at his grief.
More meekness in trial, more grace for relief.
Just as I am without one plea but that thy blood was shed for me.
And that thou bidst me come to thee, O Lamb of God I come, I come.
Just as I am, though tossed about with many a conflict, many a doubt.
Fightings and fears within, without, O Lamb of God , I come, I come.
Just as I am, thou wilt receive. Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve.
Because thy promise I believe, O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
My Jesus as thou wilt. All shall be well for me.
Each changing future scene I gladly trust with thee.
Straight to my home above I travel calmly on
And sing in life or death, “My Lord, thy will be done.”
Man may trouble and distress me, twill but drive me to thy breast.
Life with trials hard may press me and will bring me sweeter rest.
O, tis not in grief to harm me while thy love is left to me.
O, were not in joy to charm me were that joy unmixed with thee.

  1. I love to hear your songs over and over again! My wife and i listen to them while we drive in the car too.
I am sad not to see; A Radical for Jesus any longer, I assume there are conflicts some how and so you pulled that song, but I still like to listen to it. Keep up God’s work!!! I quite Imagine your boys are grown men by now.

      1. I went back to listen to it more closely; perhaps you are right, for it is more than one person singing; but I know I did down load this song off of the Annabaptist site, where I downloaded your music. Sorry for the mistake, but the words have come to inspire, and I apparently have the only copy I can find on my Youtube page; I hope this is OK, the page https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xz7BaenJ6NY
